Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2009.

Michelle Yvette Boutique Opening.
The opening party of the new Michelle Yvette Deluxe Boutique was a night of fun fashion and champagne. The set venue was the new boutique on Customs St. Guests were spilling out the doors, clinking glasses and snapping up the opening night bargains. Everyone was then ushered to the 42 Below events bar for a fashion show of the summer range due in store Oct 09. Followed by a surprise show of designer dog wear. What a laugh to see all the little dogs dressed up in tuxedos, capes and dresses adorned with roses. Once the shows were over the dancing began and we all partied the night away.

My Caravan product evening. Friday 21st Nov 2008.
There was a great turn out to the My Caravan product evening held at the Bond Bar in Taupo. Helen Bell from 'Making Clothes Work For You' taught everyone a bit about what colours and garments look best on them, then Michelle gave a sneek peak of what would be coming into store for winter 09. After whatching the show from Fashion Week on big screen viewers were able to order their favorites for the coming season! The Michelle Yvette show was part of the Verge group show, which was made up of five up and coming designers. Michelle Yvette took away the $10,000 grant for the best new designer to Fashion Week, as voted by the viewers. This range will be in stores in March/April 2009.
